after he'd seen my photo on C.J.'s

Jack, I was sitting in my office waiting for my wife to come and pick me
up. We were going up north to get out of the heat in the Phoenix valley.
In order to while away the time I brought up Yahoo and decided to do a
little surfing.

Without giving it much thought I typed in Paratrooper as the search
parameter. Eventually I found myself on the Paratroopers of the 50's web
page. It certainly brought back a lot of memories. Well, I was tooling
around and came to the "Before and After" pictures. There you were
smiling back at me.

I read all of the stories. Of course the ones that interested me the most
were the ones that dealt with life in Company C. The strange thing was I
remembered the incidents described even though, to be honest, I hadn't
thought of them for many years.

With the exception of Elojo Foss,in all of this time I have never run
into, or heard anything about, any of the fellows we went through basic
and jump school with. After Benning we all sought of went our separate
ways. I went into the 82nd MP Company and then eventually out to the 187
ARCT in Japan.
